In five easy steps!
Step 1: Start by logging in to SignaSur.
Step 2: From the home screen, click “Create a contract request” under the "Contracts" tile.
Individual CCA and CCDC documents are classified in distinct "tiles" and search lists for easier discovery and common use cases:
- Contracts: CCDC 2-31 documents
- Forms: CCDC 9A, 9B, 11
- CCA: CCA 1, 19
- CCQ: CCDC 2 CcQ, CCA 1 CcQ
NOTE: "CCDC & CCA Guides & Webinars" are freely available as part of your SignaSur enrolment, including a back catalogue of recorded webinars from webinars.ccdc.org. These resources offer guides to specific contracts as well as context on other relevant topics around project management and best practices. They are not SignaSur technical help materials, which you may find linked throughout SignaSur or here at help.signasur.ca.
Step 3: Select contract type to search for a contract.
In the Contract Type field, clicking on the "Search Records" icon
will pop open the "Look Up Contract Type" window, where you can pick from a list of CCDC contracts (or if you are already familiar with the contract you want, type it in the empty field):
If you do not know which contract you want, you may click the accompanying "CCDC list of documents June 2025.pdf" references to read descriptions of which contracts are for what scenarios:

Otherwise, click the "Select" button for the contract you want.
Step 4: Select the contract language and click “Confirm selection.”
NOTE: Once the selection is confirmed, it cannot be changed and the associated credit will be applied.
If you would like to choose another contract type, click “No, I’d like to browse more document options.” to clear the selections.
Using CCDC 2 - 2020 as an example, when you select “Confirm selection” one available document will be deducted from the total counter. In this example, the available contracts will go from 44 to 43 (depending on the purchased amount).
If you select “No, I’d like to browse more document options,” the contract type and any information inputted into the contract will be cleared.
A watermarked sample of the selected contract is provided for review before entering any details.

Step 5: Enter the contract details and information under the "Details" tab.
The document can be saved at any time, but the complete contract can only be generated once all mandatory fields (marked by an * asterisk) are filled out.
