How do I get on board?
One of the most common questions we hear when people encounter the term "digital document platform" is: "How do I get started?"
No worries — we get it! CCA aims to provide a seamless experience and barrier-free access for our members. Here’s how to get started with SignaSur™ in just five easy steps.
Step 1: Buy
First, identify which Local Construction Association (LCA) you hold a membership with. Visit their online storefront to purchase SignaSur products. Document outlets that are SignaSur ready are listed at signasur.ca.
No membership? That’s okay! You can still purchase products—just note that member pricing won't apply.
Beta Testers: Get Free Credits
If you are participating as a beta tester, you will receive free credits automatically applied to your account. To redeem your credits and access your products at no cost, simply choose the payment option Cash on Delivery or Coupon Code during checkout.

SignaSur enrollment (Required)
This is your key to unlock the SignaSur platform. It’s an annual enrollment—you'll need to renew it after 365 days from your first purchase.
With enrollment, you can manage your profile, company information, address book, and access your online document archive.

Contracts
Purchase contract credits to access various legal document templates. Each credit allows you to execute one contract from the following lists:
- Under "Contract" section:
- CCDC 2, 2 MA, 2 MA WA, 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 14, 15, 17, 18, 30, 31
- CCDC 2, 2 MA, 2 MA WA, 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 14, 15, 17, 18, 30, 31
- Under "CCA" section:
- CCA 1, CCA 19
- CCA 1, CCA 19
- Under "CcQ" section:
- CCA 1 CcQ, CCDC 2 CcQ

CCDC 9
This credit allows access to:
- CCDC 9A
- CCDC 9B

This credit gives access to execute a CCDC 11 form.

Division 00
This is a one-time key (not a credit) that unlocks a full suite of editable procurement and contracting templates.
- Appears in a separate section on your homepage.
- Valid for the duration of your SignaSur subscription.
- “Division 00” is short for CCDC Master Specification for Division 00 – 2018: Procurement and Contracting Requirements.

Division 01
Same as Division 00—this key unlocks editable templates under CCDC Master Specification for Division 01 – 2020: General Requirements.
Checking out
Once you've added your products to your cart and set the quantities for each (max one for enrolment, max 10 for credits), you may proceed to checkout:
Fill out the billing info (still required, even for free checkout) and SignaSur User Info fields, then choose the payment method or apply the coupon code that your document outlet provided:
Place the order and await the confirmation.
Step 2: Login
After purchasing your enrollment and credits, you will receive a welcome email from support@signasur.ca with the subject line "Action required: Validate your SignaSur account" with your username and temporary password:
Click "Login," which will pop open a browser window, where you will type or paste in your username and temporary password.
IMPORTANT: You will immediately be prompted to change it to a new password. You must not leave your password as the temporary one issued to you by email.
Once you have changed your password, you will be prompted to accept Terms and Conditions / User Agreement.
Step 3: Accept terms
Before using the platform, you’ll need to read and accept the on-screen Terms and Conditions / User Agreement.
NOTE: This is mandatory to unlock the user interface and full functionality of SignaSur.
- You can toggle the language option to see a copy of the agreement in your preferred language and save or print a PDF copy for your offline records. You may also always reference it in your user profile within SignaSur.
Step 4: Execute
Decide what type of document you want to execute:

“Create a new CCDC” — for executing CCDC contracts

“Create a new form” — for executing forms

“Create a new CCA” — for CCA contracts

Step 5: Archive
After your document is signed by all parties, a valid copy will be emailed to your registered address.
SignaSur also serves as your cloud archive for everything:
- “Signed & drafts" under each tile.
